WESTMORELAND SELECTMEN'S MINUTES

April 30, 2009

PRESENT: Marjorie Merena, Russell Austin, Russell Kotfila, Tina Cutter, George Laine

Marjorie Merena called the meeting to order at 7:06 PM.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:

Russell A. moved to approve the Accounts Payable Manifest in the amount of $20,738.75, seconded by Russell K. All in favor, so voted.

Russell K. nominated Gary Gray to fill his remaining term as Trustee of Trust Funds. Gary's term will end with the 2010 town election. Russell A. seconded. All in favor, so voted.

OLD BUSINESS:

Russell K. called Edwin & Mary Sienkiewicz regarding their pervious letter that the board received regarding impassable muddy road conditions. A message was left on their answering machine.

Welfare Guidelines: Russell A. has made the necessary changes to the guidelines and will present them at the next Selectmen's meeting.

Russell A., Russell K., Harry Nelson and Michael Henchey met last week to resolve some questions regarding the Fire Department, the meeting went well.

NEW BUSINESS:

Intent to Cut Wood or Timber: Cynthia Copeland & Wayne Woolridge Map R6 Lot 19 was approved and signed.

Intent to Cut Wood or Timber: Broadridge Investments LLC Map R13 Lot 8-A was approved and signed.

WARRANTS:

Report of Excavated Material: Map R1 Lot 19, Michael Cersosimo was approved and signed.

Land Use Change Tax Warrant: Map R14 Lot Lot 8-1, David F. Jr., Elaine A. Putnam was approved and signed.

Corrected Timber Tax Warrant: Map R13 Lot 6, Allen Spiegler

REMINDER: There will be no Selectmen’s meeting on May 7, 2009, the next meeting will be May 21, 2009

Russell A. moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:42 AM. Seconded by Russell K. All in favor, so voted
