Ordinance Work Meeting
Present: Jim
Starkey, Laurie Burt, Lauren Bressett, Bob Harcke, Nancy Zeller, Russ Kotfila
Meeting called to
order at
Review started
with section 449 and proceeded through section 511. Areas for
suggested changes including recreational camping, camping areas, and some
changes to the tables.
Section 453 will
be referred to the Conservation Commission for review. The board will suggest
that the building inspector, zoning administrator and selectboard review the
building ordinances.
The board will
gather further information on accessory apartments, planned unit development,
and multifamily housing and will ask Southwest Regional Planning to work with
the board on these potential changes. Bob Harcke passed out a sample ordinance
on apartments that he received from Patrick Baker.
The board also
encourages the Selectboard to organize and facilitate biannual meetings between
zoning and planning boards, conservation commission, zoning administrator,
building inspector and any other related town entities for the purpose of
sharing information and reviewing any shared concerns.
