Minutes

Present: Lauren Bressett, Jim Starkey, Russ Austin, Nancy Zeller, Laurie Burt, Bob Harcke,

Bruce Smith.

Meeting opens at 7:35 PM.

Corrections to the November minutes are: line 23; change Wiles to Wilkes. Line 26; change Waliss /Walliss to Wallis. Line 32; change (meeting so that clarify) to read (meeting to clarify).

Lauren asks for motion to approve the November minutes. Bob motions to approve with corrections. Nancy seconds. All approve.

Russ reviews with the Board the complaints the Selectman received from six concerned citizens pertaining to three properties in town and the lack of enforcement of the ordinances by the Selectmen. Russ was reminded that per section 303 it is the Zoning Board that will determine if an ordinance is being violated. A cursory review of the complaints was done and at Russ’s request, the Planning Board gave their interpretation of the ordinances in question.

Public input: Dick Cate offers the following suggestions: Review the definition of Junkyard on page 10, re-word ordinance section 422 Open Storage in Residential Districts and section 442 Landfill.

The Board continues with their review of ordinances. Started with 423 and ended with 428.

The meeting adjourned at 9:05 PM.
