Westmoreland Planning Board

Minutes

August 11, 2009

Present: Laurie Burt, Bob Harcke, Bruce Smith, Jim Starkey, Russ Kotfila, Jim Ranson. Nancy Zeller arrived after the minutes were approved.

Excused absence: Lauren Bressett

In Lauren’s absence, Laurie Burt acted as Chair.

Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM.

Minutes of July 14, 2009: Russ K. moved to accept the minutes as written. Jim seconded, motion carried unanimously.

Minutes of July 9, 2009: Bruce moved to accept the minutes as written. Jim seconded, motion carried unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS: None

Laurie shared with the Board an invitation received from the NH Office of Energy and Planning, to attend a Planning and Zoning Conference scheduled for 10-17-09

SELECTBOARD REPORT:

Russ shared with the Board an e-mail he received from Pat Baker. Board will touch base with

Lauren to confirm that contact was made with Bob Moore as stated in the minutes of May 12, 2009. Russ also extended an invitation to the Chair and Vice-chair to attend the Selectboard meeting on September 17, 2009. Noted that all Board members and the public are able to attend Selectboard meetings.

OLD BUSINESS:

Laurie reminded the Board of the special work session scheduled for 08-12-09 at 6:00 PM.

Jim suggested that the Board take a second look at the shared driveway ordinance prior to finalizing the up-dated ordinances.
