WESTMORELAND SELECTMEN'S MINUTES
PRESENT: David Putnam,Wesley Staples, Marjorie Merena, and Tina Cutter
Wesley Staples called the meeting to order at
PUBLIC BUSINESS:
George Duke was in to discuss his sons Pistol Permit application. The Selectmen explained to Mr. Duke that it had been submitted to Jim Cemorelis for approval. The Selectmen ask Tina to give Jim a call to inquire on the application since it has been some time since the application was submitted.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:
Wesley Staples moved to approve the Accounts Payable Manifest in the amount of
$12,348.39 Seconded by David Putnam. All in favor, so
voted.
SELECTMEN'S MEETING MINUTES of
NEW BUSINESS:
The Selectmen’s Office will be closed from
Letter from Bruce Smith: The Selectmen received a letter from Bruce Smith stating that he is resigning as Zoning Administrator. The Board has accepted his resignation and would like to thank him for his time spent as Zoning Administrator.
The Board of Selectmen have reviewed the Abatement requests. The Selectmen have some further questions for the Town Assessor and have asked Tina to contact Jim to request a meeting for early next week.
The Board of Selectmen
discussed the cover for the 2007 Town Report Book. David Putnam suggested that
a new picture of the
OLD BUSINESS:
Notice of Intent to Cut Timber was submitted by Marshall
& Patricia Patmos, for Map R 19 Lot 15 on
The Board of Selectmen received
a letter from Pat Dugger stating she is very happy
the Selectmen are taking some action regarding the trees in the common. The
Garden Club would also like to help out in these issues. Pat agreed that
pruning the maples could improve their health. The Board of
Selectmen will contact a tree service to tend to
the maples.
Marjorie Merena is still working on an application and possible fee schedule for Town Hall Rentals for residents and non-residents.

Land Use Change Tax: The Selectmen signed a Land Use Change Tax for Cynthia Atwood Map R10 Lot 1.
Land Use Change Tax: The Selectmen signed a Land Use Change Tax for Klick – Shea Family Trust Map R4 Lot 22.
Land Use Change Tax: The Selectmen signed a Land Use Change Tax for Keith P. Swenson & Marloe E. Swenson Map R 16 Lot 4.
Land Use Change Tax: The Selectmen signed a Land Use Change Tax for William E. Henry Jr. & Lillian F. Henry Map R4 Lot 22A.
David Putnam moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 PM. Seconded by Marjorie Merena. All in favor, so voted.
