Minutes

October 14, 2008

 

 

Present:     Lauren Bressett, Laurie Burt, Russ Austin, Bob Harcke, Nancy Zeller, Jim Starkey, Lori-Anne Ingram

Absent:  Bruce Smith

 

Call to order:  Lauren Bresset called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.

 

The Board welcomes Lori-Anne Ingram as Secretary.

 

Minutes of September: motion made by Lauren Bressett to approve the minutes, Bob Harcke moved, Nancy Zeller seconded. All approved.

 

Lori Ingram will contact Pam Waliss (spelling?) to confirm the details of the site visit with Michael Cersosimo.  (referring back to 9/08 minutes) Will report back to Board.

 

Old Business:

Andy Russell of River Rd., Westmoreland, came in with the mylar for his approved sub-division. Board noted that the Mylar needs to be registered at the Cheshire County Registry of Deeds.  Mr. Russell to contact secretary with recording information (cabinet, drawer and page #)

 

Russ on behalf of the Selctmen reported that Bob Moore has ordered new RSA books which should arrive soon.

 

Lauren Bressett reminded Laurie Burt and Robert Harcke that their terms will expire in 2009.

 

Lauren Bressett notes that the Cersosimo request has been withdrawn,  The Board states that if a new application comes forth, they will follow the state checklist for excavation.

 

The Board discussed the road, bridge and culvert standards for the town that was adopted by the Selectman as per the 9/08 minutes and the NH DOT min. design standards for rural subdivision streets.  Discussion ensued about the 10% maximum slope of roads and if it meant all or part of the road and #8 from the The Board will request that Road Agent, Gary Hudson, come to the next meeting to clarify and answer any questions.

 

Jim was curious to know if the Selectman had any concerns.  Russ states that Gary was at the Selectmen’s meeting to address their questions.

 

The Board continued with their review of ordinances.  Began with 414.  Concluded the meeting at 422.

 

The meeting adjourned at 9:03 pm.
