Marjorie Merena called the meeting to order at
PUBLIC BUSINESS:
Fire Chief Harry Nelson was
in to have the Board sign an updated Mutual Aid Agreement.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: Marjorie moved
to approve the Accounts Payable Manifest in the amount of $21,585.29, Seconded
by Russell K. All in favor, so voted.
SELECTMEN'S MEETING MINUTES of
OLD BUSINESS:
The Welfare Guidelines – Russell A. has made the necessary change to the guidelines.
Russell A. moved to approve the guidelines, Seconded by Russell K. All in favor, so voted.
The Board of Selectmen re-appointed Jim Starkey and Nancy Zeller for another
term on the Planning Board. Their term will end in 2012. Russ K. moved to
approve. Seconded by Marjorie Merena.
All in favor so voted.

NEW BUSINESS:
Junk Yard Permit: The Board approved and
signed the permit
Zoll Medical Corporation – Notified the Board of a
potential problem with our AED Plus Defibrillator.
Tina will contact the NH Bureau of EMS.
NHDES Letter – Notified the
Board of their results of an inspection of a Waste Water Lagoon in
Westmoreland.
Intent to
Cut Wood or Timber – Mr. & Mrs. Bostwick
Map R2 Lot 9 was approved and signed.
Intent to Cut Wood or Timber
– William & Linda Schreiber Map R13 Lot 24 was approved and signed.
Intent to Cut Wood or Timber
– Richard Pine Map R11 Lot 31-b was approved and signed.
Recycling Services, Inc. – Is
interested in handling other materials at our transfer station in addition to
the paper and cardboard containers they already service. Marjorie will research
this further.
NH Police Standards &
Training Council – Requires an Employee Status Notification Form to be
completed for a change in employment Status of a police office. The forms were
signed for Jim Cemorelis and for Sean Parent.
Cheshire County Sheriff’s
Dept. – State Police On-Line Telecommunications Systems Agreement, approved and
signed by the board.
The Board of Selectmen Appointed:
Robert Moore Jr. as Cemetery
Trustee for 3 years
Robert Moore Jr. Overseer of
Public Welfare for 1 year
Marjorie Merena
as Trustee of the Library for 3 years
Gina Gitchell
has resigned from the Conservation Commission Gary Dermott has been appointed
to replace Gina for 2 years.
Russ K. moved to approve. Seconded by Russ Austin. All in favor so voted.

The Board for Selectmen
received an invitation to attend Alex Remy’s Eagle Scout of Honor. The
Selectmen will be attending.
The Westmoreland Lions Club
is donating $3,000 in matching funds for the library’s restroom. The Lions Club
will be donating $5,100 to the Westmoreland Fire Dept. if and when they receive
a grant for new brush truck, and will also pay the cost of having electricity
installed in the town common.
