WESTMORELAND SELECTMEN'S MINUTES

July 2, 2009

PRESENT: Marjorie Merena, Russell Austin, Russell Kotfila, Tina Blanchard, George Laine, Bill Campbell

Marjorie Merena called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: Russ A. moved to approve the Accounts Payable Manifest in the amount of $24,787.58, Seconded by Russ K. All in favor, so voted.

SELECTMEN'S MEETING MINUTES of June 18th, 2009 were approved unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS: 
2008 Assessment review from DRA – Our Current Use files need to be brought up to date.

Dept. of Transportation Letter regarding River Road South over Partridge Brook – Weight posting signs are missing from both ends of the bridge, letter forwarded to Road Agent Gary Hudson.

The Selectmen will be meeting with William Fitzgerald, the surveyor of choice, and Tim and Cindy Hatt, Monday, July 13 at 10 at the Town Garage, to settle on the property line issue.

Marjorie said she called Triple-T about the increased disposal cost at the Keene landfill. Sean, at Triple-T, said he would call the Keene landfill and find out what would be the best, financially, for the Town.

NEW BUSINESS:
2 Pistol Permits – Russ A. will have them checked out.

Office of Energy and Planning - Requested updated Ordinance Booklet. Tina will send the requested documents.

July 7^th at 7:00pm there will be an informational meeting at the Town Hall to go over the expansion of the Selectmen’s office and the renovations of the restrooms, Marjorie Merena and Jim Merritt will be available from questions.

Russell K. moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:27 PM. Seconded by Marjorie. All in favor, so voted
