The meeting
was called to order at
PUBLIC BUSINESS:
Jim Blake and Bob Harcke, representing the Connecticut River Joint Commission requested the Board of Selectmen support a Water Quality Planning Grant Application. Members of the CRJC will work closely with the Wantastiquet Region River Subcommittee in our area in updating the plan and putting some of its recommendations into action. After discussion Wesley Stapes moved to support this application. Seconded by Elaine Moore. All in favor, so voted.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:
Wesley Staples moved to approve the Accounts Payable Manifest in the amount of $47,010.28 Seconded Elaine Moore. All in favor, so voted.

Wesley Staples moved to approve a Land Use Change Tax for Troy Rancourt, seconded by Elaine Moore. All in favor, so voted.
Frederick Zinn submitted a Current Use application. Wesley Staples moved to approve this application. Seconded by Elaine Moore. This application will be reflected in the 2007 tax bill.
Pistol Permit Application from Tammy Miller was given to Constable Cemiourlas for review.
USDA – River Cleanup – Westmoreland will receive a grant for cleaning some of the area rivers. More information on this to follow.
OLD BUSINESS:
Makinen Road Bridge- Whitcomb Construction will give the Board an estimate for a temporary bridge within the week. The Board will ask the Road Agent to the next meeting so the work can begin.
Hubbard Farms abatement – River Road Property. Wesley Staples moved to approve the abatement as written by the town assessor. Seconded by Elaine Moore. All in favor, so voted.
